Ché Ahn is a husband, father, pastor, and global leader who has dedicated his life to faith, family, and freedom. He is now running for Governor of California in 2026 with a vision to restore accountability, opportunity, and hope to the Golden State.
Born in South Korea after the war, Ché’s parents immigrated to the United States seeking freedom and a better future for their children. Though his family arrived with little money and limited English, they carried a deep faith that fueled their pursuit of the American dream. Ché’s journey reflects that same resilience. He overcame challenges of his youth, earned advanced degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary, and committed more than four decades to serving communities, strengthening families, and raising leaders.
In 1994, Ché and his wife, Sue, planted Harvest Rock Church in Pasadena, California. What began as a small congregation grew into Harvest International Ministry (HIM), a worldwide network spanning more than 70 nations. Together, they have raised four children and now enjoy the joy of grandchildren while continuing their mission to bring people together in faith and service.
Ché has also stood on the frontlines of defending freedom. During the pandemic, when California’s government shut down churches statewide, he led a coalition of more than 140 congregations in a federal lawsuit. The case reached the U.S. Supreme Court, which ruled in favor of protecting religious liberty. That victory affirmed a principle at the heart of Ché’s leadership: freedom is foundational, not optional.
An author of more than a dozen books and a sought-after speaker, Ché has trained leaders on every continent, bringing a message of revival, reformation, and hope. His leadership has always gone beyond the pulpit—mentoring entrepreneurs, supporting nonprofits, and consulting civic leaders with wisdom, integrity, and courage.
Now, Ché Ahn is stepping into the political arena—not out of personal ambition but out of obedience to what he sees as a calling. He believes government must serve its people, not control them. His campaign is centered on restoring parental rights, lowering the cost of living, protecting families, strengthening small businesses, and defending freedoms that allow every Californian to thrive.
Ché envisions a California where families are free to flourish, faith is respected—not silenced, schools offer real choice, and every person has an opportunity to rise. His life is one of revival. His mission is one of reform. And his campaign is an invitation for Californians to write a new chapter of faith, freedom, and fearless hope for the future.
